When I bring my animal to you do I need a referral from my Veterinarian? No.

Will I need to make an appointment? Yes, click here for the questions about appointments.

Will I need to continue to take my animal to his regular Veterinarian for checkups or other issues related to this animals health or do you take over management of my animals health? You will need to continue to see your regular Veterinarian for checkups and other issues not related to pain management.

Does my regular Veterinarian take over follow-up? No, our pain management specialist will continue to care for your pet’s pain until it completely resolves.

If surgery is required, where is the surgery done? Our specialists will consult with your primary care veterinarian to determine if they will provide the surgical care needed or if he/she should be referred to a specialist within the Veterinary Specialty Center

We live out of town.  Is there a facility to house my dog during our stay and treatment? The day of the procedure your pet will stay in our state-of-the-art ICU within the Veterinary Specialty Center. Also, there are multiple pet friendly hotels in Colorado Springs that are happy to serve you. Click here for a list of those hotels.

Do you have a referral service to other Veterinarians who perform similar services? At this time, Peak Performance Veterinary Group offers a unique service.

How can I have my Veterinarian talk with Dr. Gaynor? Dr Gaynor consults regularly with primary care veterinarian for a nominal fee.
